The No-Nonsense Mascara You’ll Obsess Over

Do you remember the Disney movie Bambi? Remember the times Bambi looked up with those large brown almond shaped eyes? The way he blinked and his lashes fluttered to and fro? Didn’t you look at that and think, ‘for a boy deer, he’s got amazing lash movement there”. Oh wait, was that just me?

I’m blessed with big brown doe eyes myself and went through life not needing any extra help in the lashes department….til recently. Now. I’m. Obsessed.

Picture this, I was in a mall downtown, Montreal and minding my own business when I saw the most beautiful lights coming from Sephora. What could they be selling now? What sorcery is this? My will not yet strong and already weak in the knees (from walking so damn much), I crawled into Sephora to explore the wonder before me.

Before I knew it…LIGHTS, CAMERA, LASHES! Tarte’s best selling mascara was featured in the store. Nothing new right? It’s been in stores for a while, so what was the big deal? I wasn’t sure, but I saw quite a few customers holding one of these bristle wands and putting them in their baskets. What was the deal?

I lightly scooped up one of Tarte’s mascaras and “poof” a sales person appeared by my side, raving about it. She insisted I try it on and I did, because…have you ever tried saying no to one of those ladies?

Results! No lumps, goopyness and it’s easy to apply. Like, really. Where was I when this product came out in the first place? I could have had awesome lashes for months!

Now I wear it all the damn time! The best part? My lashes look better, no, richer, actually. It stands out, gives my doe eyes definition and I can’t believe I’ve lived without it this long. See? See how important it is to try new things, even when you don’t really want to at first? You too could be using the perfect masacra for your lashes, all you have to do is try it for free at Sephora. How stupid easy is that?

In conclusion, I was pleasantly surprised by my little adventure with my not-so new cosmetic product. The review for this mascara is passé but the product still holds up and I’m impressed.

Go buy it. Let’s all look like Tartes!!! (insert laugh track here)
