Anthropologie Perfume Find

I used to think visiting the Anthropologie website was addictive until I walked into their store the other day (btw, the only store in Montreal) and now I’m addicted to visiting that too.

I can appreciate the fashion they carry (though it’s not really my cup of tea), but what I’m really into is everything else they have in store; pillows, dishes, scented candles and makeup. As of last year, I’ve been a bit of a perfume whore and I’m not ashamed to admit it and I’m not about to stop anytime soon. There’s something very pleasant about choosing your personal scent(s) and I have a very intimate relationship with my bottles of scented goodness as I do with fine lingerie.

While visiting Anthropoligie for the second time this week,  I happily discovered The Artist’s Studio’s perfume collection. I chose two out of the four for now and cannot wait to buy the others in a couple of months (can’t take in all the excitement at once, a girl’s gotta pace herself). “White Amberette” and “Bergamot Woods” are the awesome scents I purchased and they two couldn’t be more different from one another. The White Amberette smells of lily and rose petals grounded in ginger and patchouli and it smells sweet on my skin. I’m happy to report that the scent lasted for the most part of my work day and many people commented on the sweet aroma. The Bergamot Woods smells of earthy tones of bergamot and sandalwood, sweetened with apricot and a hint of jasmine and this scent left a musky, night aroma on my skin that I plan on wearing for evening dinner parties with friends. It’s a perfect day and night perfume set and I couldn’t be more pleased with them.

If you’re interested in any of these scents, please visit Anthropologie on their website or visit their store and check it out, I think you’ll love it as much as I do.

Ciao!
